I think the simplest answer is any number divisible both by 2 and 3 (2x3=6), which is easy enough to figure out separately. All even numbers are divisible by 2, and all numbers divisible by 3 have their individual digits add up to a multiple of 3 (e.g. for 231, 2 + 3 + 1 = 6, and 6 is a multiple of 3, therefore 231 is also a multiple of 3).

In short, multiples of 6 are even numbers whose digits add up to a multiple of 3.

yes exept for the numbers 3,9,15,21,27,33 etc

The number 12 has 4 and 6 as factors so 12 is a multiple of 4 and 6.

Divide it by 6 and if 6 goes into it with no remainer then it must be a multiple of 6.

Three is not a multiple of 6 because you can't multiply 6 by a whole number and get the answer 3.

A multiple of 6 is any whole number that can be divided by 6 with no remainder. 1 divided by 6 is zero remainder one. Therefore, 1 is not a multiple of 6.

To be a multiple of 6 a number must be even and a multiple of 3.356 is not a multiple of three. The short cut to that is if the digits add up to a multiple of three then the original number is a multiple of 3.

36 is a multiple of 6 and also a squared number, because 6x6=36

Factors divide into a number. A number divides into multiples. 3 is a factor of 6. 12 is a multiple of 6. 6 is both a factor and a multiple of 6.

yes, any number that can be made by multiplying a number by the original number is a multiple so: 5 is a multiple of 5 6 is a mult. of 6 and so on BUT 0 is not a multiple of any number but itself...

No, 61 is not the multiple of 6. 60 and 66 is a multiple of 6. 61 is a prime number which is a number that can be divided by 1 and itself.

Multiple is a number that is divided by another number without a remainder. Lets divide 57 by 6 we have 3 as remainder. So 57 is not a multiple of 6.
