"Niederwald" is the name of two places. It is a town in Switzerland and also a town in Texas, US.In addition to that it is a German word for "coppice" (an area of woodland).
Germany is the main producer of Riesling, known for its high-quality wines that showcase a range of styles from dry to sweet. The Mosel, Rheingau, and Pfalz regions are particularly renowned for their Riesling vineyards. Additionally, Australia, especially in the Clare Valley and Eden Valley, has gained recognition for producing excellent Riesling as well.

It completely depends. The deepest part is at the Loreley Rocks (Felsen der Loreley). In comparison in the Rheingau it is no deeper than 1.9 meters. But, for that reason, at that point the river is 900 meters wide. Also, it's varying depending on the amount of water in the course of a year. There's flooding after a lot of rain, melt-off in the spring and low-water when it hasn't rained for a long time. So that ships can go up and down the Rhein relatively undisturbed, there are channels in the Rhein which assure there is a depth of at least 1.9 meters (as previously stated). I hope this answered your question. It's a large river.
The weather is fairly constant along the Rhine River year-round due to the sheer size of the body of water and the low altitude. In October it is seasonably warm and often enjoys what is called "Altweibersommer" or "old woman's (or widow)" Summer much like Indian Summer as it is called in North America. Some years after a good wine grape crop you will enjoy fantastic varieties of red wines from the lower Rheingau.
