Euclid's Elements is the name you're after.
Euclid James
Mr and Mrs Euclid
Euclid was the name of a famous Greek mathematician.
Euclid of Alexandria or Eukleides
His father's name was Naucrates, and his Grandfather's name was Zenarchus
Euclid is the only recorded name of the man of the fourth century BC known as the Father of Geometry. He was also called Euclid of Alexandria, where he established a school of mathematics.
Euclid discusses the tetrahedron in his Elements of Geometry, around 300 BC, and it is probably much older.
Alexandria
Euclid is the English translation of the Greek name Eukleides, meaning Good Glory.
Not a great deal is known about him, but there is no indication that he was ever known by more than one name. He was occasionally referred to as Euclid of Alexandria. "Euclid" is the anglicized version of the Greek name Εὐκλείδης, meaning "Good Glory".
The name Euclid is an English translation of the Greek name Eukleides. Eukleides, meaning 'good glory', was probably his first name. Family names in the 4th Century BC usually referred to the place where a person was born, and is not known in Euclid's case. There is no known record of Euclid's parents, sibling, marriage, or childhood.
