the number 1 may very well be straight down or 20 degrees to the left of strait down then the nuber 1 wire would be just right of center (looking down standing bent over fron fnt of radiator drivers side on right )
You need to find TDC then remove cap and see where rotor button is pointing.
1,3,4,2 look at you distribitor cap, make sure it goes in this order, start from number one stamped on the cap and go clock wise, this is your firing order
No-1 wire goes on the distribitor cap in the 7: o clock position clock wise when standing in front of your vehicle. 18436572
