The Spanish.
Spain
Spain.
there most likely is. it is probably the land that has yet to be discovered.
France claimed the most of the land in North Africa.
The British Empire claimed the most land in history, with territories and colonies in various parts of the world, including North America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. At its peak, the British Empire covered almost a quarter of the Earth's total land area.
They lived in relatively good circumstances, with a varied diet better than most Europeans. That lasted until Europeans started to take over their land.
The United Kingdom and Russia were the countries with the two largest empires in the world, meaning the most claimed land. However, Spain and the United Kingdom could be tied because the two countries both claimed all of the Americas (of course these claims were unrealistic and not recognized).
Spain did! =)
to get more land
The Europeans believed that the earth was there for them to take to improve their lives both physically and monetarily. They destroyed whole forests to plant more and more crops. The American Indians believed that the lands were entrusted to them by the Creator. They believed they had to maintain that trust by not taking more than they needed, whether it was animal or trees.
that question is easy. the europeans 'founded Australia' well the aboriginals were here first but then because the aboriginals hadn't actually claimed the land captain cook came along with his European buddies and claimed it. there are some pirks and disadvantages of this one perk is that now Australia is civilised and is a multi cultural country a dis advantage is that the aboriginals get special treatment by the government but i guess that is okay. but that's my opinion. the europeans brought their people and then the families started taht's why most of australians are europeans.
Spain did.
