A Prime number is a number that is divisible only by 1 and itself. It has no other factors.

The factors of 3 are 1 and 3. It can be factored only as 1 x 3.

The factors of 4 are 1, 2, and 4. It can be factored as either 1 x 4 or 2 x 2.

The factors of 10 are 1, 2, 5, and 10. it can be factored as either 1 x 10 or 2 x 5.

Therefore, 3 is the prime number.
