1 and the highest common factor is 15
You need at least two numbers to find something in common, but I'll save you the trouble. The least common factor of 15 and anything is 1.
When it is a factor of the larger number for example the least common multiple of 15 and 60 is 60 because 15 is a factor of 60 and 60 is factor of itself
There's no such thing as "common factors" of a single number."Common" means "same for both".A "common" factor is a number that's a factor of at least two different numbers. The factors of 15 are: 1, 3, 5, and 15.Find another number that also has any of these as a factor, and you'll have a 'common' factor.
There cannot be a common factor of just one number. To be common there need to be at least two numbers.
The least common factor of any set of numbers is 1.
