It would have a downhill slope from left to right
It will change the direction of the slope because -x goes downhill while +x goes uphill
'uphill' it is positive 'downhill' it is negative
3x+4y = 8 4y = -3x+8 y = -3/4x+2 in slope intercrpt form It has a negative slope so the straight line goes 'downhill'
the change of rise over run. a positive slope goes up and a negative slope goes down
All of them do. If a certain slope goes downhill in one direction, it will go uphill if you look from the other side. All of them do. It really depends on the slope. If it is a steep slope, the runoff will flow downhill faster and collect more at the bottom. If it is a pretty level slope, the runoff won't collect at the bottom of it. The water will just flood the top of the slope.
Rivers respond to gravity, and flow downhill or down any slope. The current (flowing water) will react according to the slope down which it is moving.
The slope of the land makes the water go downhill faster, giving it less time to saturate into the ground, so less will get into the ground
