Molecules in the cell all help in keeping information. Memory is not stored as words, but as codes that are kept by the cell. When the memory is needed, it is decoded and recalled. Since our brains can store more information, we can evolve ourselves without forgetting much. We build on our own and we evolve as a group. In summary, the atoms make molecules which make/help cells remember codes.
