CM of telangana
As of October 2023, the Chief Minister of Telangana is K. Chandrashekar Rao, often referred to as KCR. He has been in office since the formation of the state in June 2014 and is the leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party. KCR has played a significant role in the movement for statehood for Telangana and has focused on various development initiatives since taking office.

Resigned included 44 out of 53 ruling Congress party's MLAs from Telangana, 9 out of 12 ruling Congress party MPs in Lok Sabha from Telangana.Except 18 MLAs; MIM(7), Congress(9) (including two ministers, Deputy speaker and Deputy CM) CPM(1), Lok Satta(1); the rest of the Telangana MLAs have resigned.
