That is a good question. For one, if you will, god made them to be on your legs. But none of us know why god did that. I would much rather have two feet protruding from my legs than one foot protruding from my head, wouldn't you? It would be very difficult to walk like that. If we had been created different then we very well may have had feet coming out of our head, but feet were just meant to be attached to our legs.
