because, along time ago in ancient Greece when math was just developing. quadrilius anglus invented all shapes. every shape was invented by this man. 2D, 3D, triangles, cirlces and basically everything. However quadrilius was a very sad man, even though he created all the shapes all he wanted was his father's love and respect. he needed to fill the hole in his heart where his father's love should've been. then he invented the square and diamond and every four angled shape, he decided to name it after himself. and thus the quadrangle was born.
A quadrangle has 4 sides only Example:A pentagon A square A rectengle Hope This Worked
quadrangles No it quadrilaterals
There are called quadrilaterals, or quadrangles.
quadrangles means four-angled object but mostly a rectangular one a trapezoid has 4 angles but only two sides are parallel So a trapezoid can be a quadrangles but not all trapezoids are quadrangels On another hand all quadrangles are trapezoid
yes, it has 4 sides and angles.... like a square. :)
No, all parallelograms are quadrangles or quadrilaterals which have 4 sides. Hexagons have 6 sides.
Four.
A quadrangle is a closed figure that has the following attributes: 2-dimensional, 4 vertexes, 4 sides, and 4 angle
All kites are quadrilaterals having 4 sides and 4 interior angles that add up to 360 degrees
A trapezoid has only one pair of parallel sides while other quadrilaterals have two pairs of parallel sides. also the trapezoid doesn't have to have any sides that are equal in length.
No any polygon with four sides is a quadrangle. Quadrangles can also be called quadralaterals.
anything with four sides, rectangle, square, rhombus, parallelogram. etc
