A: Humans use the decimal or the 10 numbers systems since i guess we have ten fingers. And we do the mathematics using the ten digit numbers. Computers use the binary system two digits "0" "1" and it recognizes as true or false that is machine language all the computations are based on these two binary numbers
Simple answer? Because you have ten fingers, it was the easiest to count & the ancients ran with it. There have been other base number systems, for example Sumerians & Babylonians had base 60 (that's why there are 60 minutes, 60 seconds etc).
If you haven't been taught how to type properly then your using one or two, if you do know how to then your using ten.
