Qualitative observation.
A qualitative observation. For example, your gender, or the colour of your eyes.
observation without numerical values are qualatative with numbers is quantatative
that apple is red (includes no numbers at all and it describes an apple which is an observation)
what is qualilative observation
interference - you give meaning of what you had observed observation- is what you see
It shows that light behaves as a wave phenomenon. Interference cannot be explained using a particle theory. http://www.physicsclassroom.com/class/waves/Lesson-3/Interference-of-Waves
state why an observation cannot be an inference
state why an observation cannot be an inference
A subjective observation cannot be seen; it is an idea, thought, or opinion. If you cannot see it, feel it, hear it, or smell it, it is a subjective observation.
Qualitative observation.
White light consists of a mixture of many different colors. Each color will have different interference patterns, making observation difficult.
A qualitive observation is an observation of a product of a reaction which cannot be measured numerically, e.g. colour, state of matter. A quantitive observation is an observation which can be measured, e.g. size, volume.
A qualitative observation. For example, your gender, or the colour of your eyes.
indirect observation
No. A steel plate in one's head cannot cause interference with a computer.
because science is about facts, and facts cannot be determined without careful observation.
