The answer will depend on what currency the question is about. The coinage used by the US and the Eurozone is not the same so an answer that works for cents in one case will not work for cents in the other.

Employers do not only want to hear that you want to work for them for the money. They also want to know that you truly are interested in their company.
Depending on where you want to work, you can be as young as 14 to work in most chain establishments, i.e., convenience stores, fast-food restaraunts, and grocery stores. Whereas, if you want to work in "sit-down" restaraunts or in a local office building, you usually have to be at least 17 years of age.
this depends on the cost you pay, the profit you want and the demand(what the public wants to pay.), plus your overhead If you pay 33 cents a pound and you want $100 profit daily but the public will pay only 43 cents a pound for up to 900 lbs a day, 40 cents a pound for up to 1500 lbs a day, and 37 cents a day for up to 2500 lbs a day it would seem you profits would increase to maximum at around 40 cents a pound with the least amount of work for you, and the lowest initial outlay. There are other factors involved and situations differ everywhere. Costs change as amounts change, amount of work increases with volume....etc.
they hate them because they don't work. i am a mom of two and i turned away from bibs till I got this little idea of perhaps I could make a better one. I did and when I met with The big baby stores ( not maintaining names) THey told me my bib worked too well Hello THey said right to my face, GO to china and make it for a few cents and make sure it does;t work that well or last more then a month or so. Want the only only bib that works? I call it bibbitec
It all depends on what you want to give. The company I work for pays 34 cents per mile. A quick Google search reveals numbers between 30 to 39 cents per mile. I don't know where you live, but where I work in Florida they pay .55/mile.
Yes they are only selling them to recover their lose.
Work for it!
