away from the pile, you can do that 6 times, and then there's only 1 stone left,

so you can take 2 stones away only 1/2 of another time.

If you've been keeping track of your activities, you would say that you took 2 away

from 13 six and a half times, and you could write it like this: 61/2 or 6.5 .
