What is the difference between perpindicular and intersecting lines?

Intersecting lines can cross at any angle. Perpendicular lines cross or meet at 90 degrees only.

How many points do intersecting lines cross?

In a plane, only one.

What is a line that cross each other at only one point?

Intersecting lines

Can you draw lines that are parallel but not intersecting?

That's the only kind of parallel lines there are, non-intersecting!

How do perpendicular differ from intersecting lines?

Perpendicular lines are a subset of intersecting lines. The only difference is that perpendicular lines intersect at an angle of 90o, whereas intersecting lines can converge at any angle.

What are the three relationships for two straight lines in the same plane?

Well, there are really only two: parallel and intersecting. Parallel lines go in the same direction and never cross; intersecting lines do cross (or intersect). However, a third relationship, that's actually a special case of intersecting lines, is the case of perpendicular lines. Perpendicular lines are those that make four right angles when they intersect. Really, it's enough if you know that only one of the angles is a right angle - the rest follow automatically.

Is it true that two lines with different slopes are perpendicular?

No. Only lines that intersect at 90 degree angles are perpendicular. Any other lines that cross each other are simply intersecting lines.

What is the different of a perpendicular lines and intersecting lines?

The only difference between perpendicular lines and intersecting lines is that perpendicular lines create a right angle at the point of intersection.

How are perpendicular lines similar to intersecting lineshow are they different?

The question is baffling. They're not different. Perpendicular lines must be intersecting lines. The only lines that are not intersecting lines are parallel lines. If two lines arenot parallel, then they must intersect, and they can be perpendicular or not.

Do all intersecting lines form right angles?

No, This only happens when an intersecting line makes a plus sign.

What numbers are less than 10 that have intersecting lines?

The answer depends on how you write the numbers. In general, only 4 has intersecting lines. With all other numbers there are lines that touch but do not intersect.Handwritten 8 does have intersecting lines but it does not on in print. In the case of a handwritten 7, it depends on whether it is crossed (in the German fashion). The answer depends on how you write the numbers. In general, only 4 has intersecting lines. Does intersecting lines meet at two points?

Lines in a plane can intersect at only one point.
