The first few digits are
1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144 ...
One particularly interesting feature of this sequence is that the ratio of any two consecutive numbers approaches a number called Φ, which is about 1.618
1/1 = 1
2/1 = 2
3/2 = 1.5
5/3 = 1.666...
8/5 = 1.6
13/8 = 1.625
And so on. Φ is an interesting number because
Φ^2 = Φ + 1
1/Φ = Φ - 1
