Why is it that people who are naturally good in math are weak in English subjects and vise a versa?
From my experience, this isn't necessarily true. In my class, me and one other guy always came top in English and the same was true for maths. And although everyone obviously has strengths and weaknesses, I think your general intelligence level will affect your performance in all subjects, in most cases. --------------------- well scientifically, it is said that our brains (as it varies from person to person) processes information differently. Some people are more linguistically inclinced than they are mathematically incline; (the whole left brain - right brain thing). i am a teacher and i have personally seen this pattern for years; students that are excellent in English subjects are not as strong in math (and usually the same is true for science)and the reverse is true as well. but i would hasten to say that regardless if you are naturally strong in linguistics (English, language arts, etc) this doesn't mean that you can not develop both thinking processes so as to strike some kind of balance between the two. if you find yourself to be a strong language student this does not mean that you are a mathematically challenged , but simply that you need to spend more time practicing math subjects and vise a versa.

It is normal for people to have strengths and weaknesses. A lot of people that seems to be good at math sucks at english and vice versa, though this is not forever. Through practice, learning more vocabulary and trying to start a journal would surely help in your writing skills. You may be born weak at something but that doesn't mean your going to stay like that forever unless you let it.
