practical, widely used system of units. Only the old Imperial system uses 2units to express mass. Example 2Pound 4 Ounces. This can also be expressed as 2.25 Pound if it is decimalized. The beauty of the Metric system which most of the world uses is always decimalized and quantities are never expressed using 2units like the British do.
