It's not. Mass is a single, base unit in any

practical, widely used system of units. Only the old Imperial system uses 2units to express mass. Example 2Pound 4 Ounces. This can also be expressed as 2.25 Pound if it is decimalized. So you see there is no need to use 2units of measure unless you choose to. Another example: 3kilo 140milligram is the same amount as 3.140 Kilo. The beauty of the Metric system which most of the world uses is always decimalized and quantities are never expressed using 2units like the British do. Everything in the Metric system is a multiple of 10, making it dead easy to express quantities in decimal form using only 1unit, never 2 units.

Is the mass of an object different if it is measured in us units and metric units?

The mass would not change, only the numbers describing the amount of mass would change.

What does units agree mean?

In mathematics, two quantities are said to be in units agreement if they have the same units of measure. For example, if two quantities are both measured in meters, then they are in units agreement. If one quantity is measured in meters and the other is measured in centimeters, then they are not in units agreement.

What Two example of common units for mass?

Two common units for mass are kilograms and grams

Mass is measured by this unit?

The SI unit for mass is the kilogram.Other units include pounds, tonnes, metric tonnes, atomic mass units, eV/c2, Earth masses, Solar masses. The latter two are often used for comparisons in astronomy.

Are rectangles measured in cubic units?

no, cubic units are for three dimensional figures, hence cubic = 3 they are measured in square units, as they have only two dimensions.

What are the two units that the isobars can be measured in?

millibars and inches in mercury

What is a ratio that compares two quantities that are measured in different units?

what is it

How do you compare two lengths that are measured in different sized units?

You can mutiply or divide the units to find the answer.

Why is surface aree measured by square units and volume is measured in cubic units?

Surface area is two-dimensional. Volume has a third dimension: depth.

How much is one cup into grams?

A cup is a unit of volume, grams is a unit of mass, the two units can not be equated unless you know the density of the substance being measured.

What two quantitiesdo you need know in order to calculate density?

If you don't know this you can work it out from the units: Density = kg/m^3 (kilograms per metre cubed) Mass is measured in kilograms Volume is measured in metres cubed You therefore need mass and volume to work out density.

What is 1 mg of data time in minutes?

A milligram is a measure of mass and, as far as I am aware, data time is not measured as a mass.
