Because the questions are easy.

Answer:

The beauty of math is that if you find the math you are doing (like geometry or algebra) easy there is always calculus hiding in the wings to provide more sport. Add differentiation and integration, imaginary numbers, Laplace transforms, Fourier analysis, 11 dimensions, transfinite series and the math will eventually triumph. Some simple maths problems have been unsolved for hundreds of years. (See Link for a dozen or so)
