Firstly, it is pi, not pie.
Second, it is not 3.14 but is an irrational number which is close to 3.14: a better approximation is 3.1416 but, being an irrational number, it cannot be expressed exactly as a decimal number.
In October 2011 the value of pi to 10 trillion digits was calculated.
3.14159
Aryabhatta
divide the circumference by pie (3.14) and the answer would be the radius. for example circumference = 314 pie = 3.14 so 314 divide by 3.14 = 100 so the radius = 100
22/7 or 3.1416
Tells you the answer is 2*sqrt(314*pi) inches, which is approximately 62.82 inches Seriously though. Use metric units in maths it makes everything just work!

PI means 22/7.Its value is approximately equal to3.14..........
pi can be written by two adjacent i i and a small _on them like __ 3.141592653 ii
In mathematics, the value of pi (π) is a mathematical constant that represents the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. It is approximately equal to 3.14159.
1 x 314 and 2 x 157
if you go on to bbc maths revition and type in on search pi with no e it should come up. :)
A paradox is a statement which leads to a self-contradictory or a logically incorrect conclusion. There is nothing paradoxical about pi and so the question does not apply.
The positive integer factors of 314 are: 1, 2, 157, 314
