Best Answer

Because there is no such thing as a squre number!

50 IS a square number. It is the square of 7.0711, approx.

7^2 = 49 and 8^2 = 64 and there is no whole number between 7 and 8 so 50 is not the square of an integer and so it is not a perfect square.
