Intelligence includes many different mental abilities; the ability to do math problems is just one of them.
There are differing opinions on the accuracy of IQ tests. Although some believe that they are a reliable indicator of an individual's intelligence, others believe that they offer an incomplete picture.
Becoming a doctor doesn't depend so much on your IQ, but more on the grades you get. You need As and Bs at A-level Chemistry, Biology and/or Maths. Becoming a doctor doesn't depend so much on your IQ, but more on the grades you get. You need As and Bs at A-level Chemistry, Biology and/or Maths.
It's an indicator of a person's intelligence. IQ stands for intelligence quotient. You get to do a test to get your IQ score. An average IQ is around 90-100. The more your IQ number is high, the more you are supposedly intelligent. However, some people say that IQ tests and scores are unreliable.IQ scores are normalized by age, thus theoretically if you got an IQ score of xyz you should always get an IQ score of xyz throughout your life whenever tested. In actual practice deviations in score of about ±5 points are not considered statistically significant. However remember that the only thing an IQ score has ever been shown to consistently predict both reliably and accurately is the ability to score high on IQ tests.
Sorry verbal iQ is 96. not 9
Your IQ is your intelligence quotient. You can determine your IQ by taking a certain test. :)
Today's IQ scores are really an indicator of how well one will do in Westernized educational systems.

Quite good but IQ tests, especially those done online, are not a good indicator of IQ. Age comes into it when doing children and a true IQ test is not performed any more. If you must use online IQ versions, find ones suitable for children and with a good number of questions - 10 or 20 questions is no good at all.

There is a statiistically correct answer to this question, but the practical answer is: your IQ is closer to 130. It is nearly impossible to raise your IQ score (unless you have prior knowledge of IQ test items), but easy to lower it (bad test day, fatigue, low motivation, illness, etc.) So, it is reasonable to presume that the lower score was a consequence of something negatively influencing testing performance. Dr. Jed Struckus Clinical Neurologist in simpler words, an IQ is an intelligence quotient: not an indicator of intelligance.
No. They can train your mind to react more quickly to a situation, but by no means, is there any evidence to suggest it raises your IQ. Which is an indicator of intelligence.

my IQ is 169
All Iq test, are different in some what way. Numerous Iq test have the same type of questions, but difference is slight. Most test do correspond with one an another... But some IQ are made by complete idiots, and some are made by the top in intelligence today! In Australia there is a Gap program, (similar to an IQ test) It's made by the smartest people, ranged to the idiots of this world (Not trying to be bumptious or disparaging them. Let's just say the "not so bright") You could have such a complex question, you wouldn't be able to apprehend and a question, that seems delinquent to the other. Most IQ test do have various questions, not one IQ test, can really prove someone's IQ. Due to the fact, some people specialize in English more or so than Maths. Complex math's question wouldn't suit a more literal English student. It's hard to determine if the real deal.
