It could be the air conditioner went out simply at that time and it has nothing to do with the outlet. My guess is, however, that something went wrong in the wiring process and you need to find a competent electrician to check it for you.
I recently replaced the battery in our 1998 Windstar and did not keep the electrical system connected during the changeover. No issues afterwards.
The filters are what needs to be replaced most often on the air conditioning units.

Same thing happened to mine. I had to replace the whole thing. Mechanic told me it was due to a nonworking electrical wiring that was connected to the brake lights were out. Once you replaced the whole thing, it should be working.
The batteries may not be in correctly.

Make sure that you connected the battery cables properly. The red cable goes to the positive side(+) the negative or black cable to the (-) side.
Never! If it's low on refrigerant it has leaked.
Cabin filter? They are replaced/ not cleaned, not worth the effort.
Only the plane's tires (iinflated with air) are pneumatic. The controls on modern aircraft are mostly hydraulic, but in some cases have been replaced with "fly-by-wire" electrical servos connected to and monitored by the plane's computer.
Some basic electrical items - like for example a fruit blender or even a washing machine - can be replaced with mechanical systems that need other form of power (like human power). We can say that such electrical items replaced the mechanical items in the first place. For other items - like cell phones or TVs - no we can not replace the electrical power.
Electrical equipment that is defective should be where possible repaired and if not repairable it should be replaced.
