b/c our faith inst strong enough and The Temptations of this world are overwhelming
Somewhere in the christers' bible it says "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." and elsewhere it talks about removing the beam from your own eye before commenting on the mote in your brother's. These two messages indicate that perhaps the "youth" aren't "doing sin" any more than any other group. It just seems that way to some observers. It is the nature of people younger than us to do things that don't follow the older generations arbitrary rules for behavior. Neither the words "youth" or the word "sin" are really useful. "Youth" can mean a rapping teen spouting lyrics that would make an old-time sailor blush, or a graduate nurse off to Nigeria to promote the use of condoms. Both are "youth" to someone, and both would be "doing sin" to some folks. In the same manner hidebound old folks (my demographic) who hold decade old grudges and work against needed social reform are every bit as much "doing sin"
because the faith is small and the temptation of the world is overwhelming
The keyword to know that doing good is right and not doing it is sin is "conscience."
If they continue to sin then the person themselves is denying God (that which is good and holy). God is not denying, he is being denied.
doing harm to your body and any sin that is not spiritual
Saint Patrick did commit one sin. No one knows the sin he committed, but he committed the sin in his youth before going to Ireland.
There are two types of sin. Venial sin is a non-serious sin, when the sinner does not know it is wrong. Mortal sin is a serious sin, when the sinner is aware of what they are doing.
continue = to persist; to carry on doing something or being somethingeg The police will continue their investigations until the killer is caughtContinue= to keep on doing what you were doing.
It is not a sin to not take communion. The sin is to not attend mass. Most people do take communion when they come of age if they decide to continue with the religion.
By NOT doing something you are supposed to do!
depends what they like doing
Doing it, of course is not a sin, but your motivation for doing it could be, or not, it depends on the reason. Examples: To make yourself sexy and have the opposite sex lust after you? Sin. I am tired of this hair style and want to try something else? Not Sin. It all depends on your heart.
