Serial no. under lever; SN begins with lower case c, 1946; begins with upper case D, 1947
You would need to know the serial number to give you a exact year of production, but the Marlin Model 1893 rifle was made from 1893-1936.
It says Model 375 on the barrel.
As of right know it would be had to say because marlin never assigned a block of serial numbers to the model 1893.they were included with the other models being made at that time which were the model 1889,1891,1892,1893,1894,1897.
I would say that your Marlin model 336cs(standard carbine) was made in 1983.

In order to determine what ammo is appropriate for your Marlin rifle,i Would need to know what model of marlin you have?Is it a model 1889,1893 etc.I would also need to know what markings are found on the barrel(40-60,38-40,40-65 etc.)this will all assist in the correct ammo for the rifle in question.Please repost your question with the info required to help you determine the correct ammo for your rifle.

I don't know the value of your .22 Ranger bolt action,but it was made by Marlin for and sold by Ranger.It is the same as the Marlin model 80.All parts will fit
