Newtons.
Pound weight.
inches or centimeters, I would use inches.
In metric, you would use square meters and/or square centimeters, depending on how large your table is. In America one might use square inches or square feet.
A tape measure that measure in feet and inches (or meters and centimeters) would be most appropriate.
I would recomend a table saw for that.
The table is measured from rail to rail, the playing surface. The regulation pool table sizes will measure 100 inches by 50 inches (9 foot table) or 88 inches by 44 inches (8 foot table) or 92 inches by 46 inches (oversize 8 foot table).
For length and height, you would use feet Width would be in inches Weight would be in pounds or ounces In metrics it would be meters Centimeters kilograms or grams
what would you use to measure a table
Like with some beds to raise them, use risers. That can raise the table six inches.
The pound or kilogram would be best. The table is nothing like, say, a toothpick. It's a lot heavier. But it isn't as heavy as, say, a bulldozer. Pounds or kilograms would be the unit of choice for the weight of a kitchen table.
