You have to advertise your business. Ask your parents to tell any of their friends that have children. Or you can put up posters, but you might want to just baby sit for family and friends. Some baby sitters have cards that they hand out. If you've taken a baby sitting class, a CPR class, or a class that will assist you as far as baby sitting the parents will feel better about hiring you [you can also show the classes you've taken on your card]!
