what i do is square it 30x30 = 900 devide it by 100 and x it by 78.5398 =706.8582

78.5398% is correct for doing it this way.

(78.5398163397425)

Improved answer:

Area of a circle = pi*radius2

Area = pi*152 = 706.8583471 square inches
