Let say that Kira sent x messages, so that Hans sent x - 10 messages, and Abdul sent 2x messages. Since they sent 74 messages altogether we have:
x + (x - 10) + 2x = 74
4x - 10 = 74
4x - 10 + 10 = 74 + 10
4x = 84
4x/4 = 84/4
x = 21 Kira's messages
x - 10 = 21 - 10 = 11 Hans's messages
2x = 2(21) = 42 Abdul's messages
