24 inches, because the radius is always 1/2 of the diameter.
10 inches
No because there are about 64 square inches in the 9 inch pizza and about 254 square inches in the 18 inch pizza.
You can work out the area of a circle by squaring the radius (multiplying the radius by itself) and multiplying this by pi. In this case the radius is 22cm so multiply 22 by 22. This equals 484. Multiply 484 by pi (3.14). This makes the answer 1520.53 cm2. Make sure that this is the radius and not the diameter. The radius is only from the centre of the pizza to one side, not all the way across, because that sounds like a massive pizza.

1 12 inch pizza for 9.99 is the better deal. Whether or not we consider the total volume of pizza purchased or just the surface area of pizza (which reflects how much topping there will be) the proportion between the 12 inch and the two 8 inch pizzas (combined) always results in 9:8. So you are getting slightly more pizza with the 12 inch pizza, and it is cheaper, so it is the better deal. Volume = pi * r2 * h. As r2 for the 12 inch pizza = 62 = 36, this is more than 2 * 42 = 32 by the proportion 36:32, which simplifies to 9:8.
The area of a pizza depends on the size of said pizza. If there is a certain pizza you would like to find the area of, all you need to do is: 1. measure the diameter of the pizza 2. split the diameter in half to get the radius 3. square the radius and multiply it by pi(3.14). For example, if I have a pizza with a diameter of 10 inches I would split that in half to get a radius of 5 inches. Then I would do this: (3.14) x 52. Which would end up being 78.5 in2. Tada, now you know how to get the formula of a pizza!
Area = pi x radius^2 A = pi x 2^2 A = 12.566 square inches
You measure it with the tape ruler thing or use pi (3.1415937) times the radius or the diameter. I forgot which one.
This depends on the size of the pizza, The length of a slice is = the radius of the pizza which is half the diameter. i.e. a fourteen inch pizza will have roughly eighth slices that are each 7 inches long
A large Dominos Pizza is 14 inches.
When advertised the measure of a pizza is its diameter. A 24 inch pizza therefore should have a diameter of 24 inches.
I suggest you divide the 14 inches and the 11 inches by 2 to get the radius (presumably, the numbers refer to the diameter). Then you can calculate the area using the formula for a circle, and compare.
The radius of a single slice is: 3.025 inches
38 inches squared
Area of pizza: 64pi square inches.

Assuming the pizza is round, use the same formula as area for a circle: A = Pi x R² where Pi = 3.1416 and R² is the radius multiplied by itself (the radius is one-half of the diameter). Using the formula: A = 3.1416 x (6.5 x 6.5) = 3.1416 x 42.25 = 132.7326 sq in.
