= Sides that stand in proportion to one another. That means they have the same angles, but their size may be different.

Ex using numbers:

You have a tirangle with the three sides; 3,4 and 5.

You have a second triangle with the three sides 15, 20 and 25.

If you do the math, you will se that despite the 2nd triangle being bigger, they have the same angle sum. To make it simple, you can just divide the sides. to get the proportions. In this example the proportions are 1:5.

The 2nd triangle is 5 times bigger than the first; they have a proportionality of 1:5.
