Here are the basic differences:
elementary algebra:
- Domain is the real numbers
- Uses the operations of addition, subtraction, and multiplication
- Uses the laws of associativity, commutativity, and distributivity
Boolean algebra:
- Domain is only two numbers
- Uses the operations of conjunction, disjunction, and negation (AND, OR, NOT)
- Uses the laws of associativity, commutativity, distributivity, absorption, and complements

Algebra 1 is a class/course that is on a higher level than Algebra.
There's no such thing as Algebra 3Edit: Yes there is. It is a college level course and when it is offered in high school it's called Algebra Three. The difference is that Algebra 3 is more in depth than Algebra Two is.
properties are based on axioms
Boolean Algebra is the study of the algebra of logic whilst Mathematical logic is a way of applying Boolean algebra. Other applications include set theory, digital logic and probability.
Algebra is a very broad topic covering all sorts of things, including Boolean algebra. Boolean algebra in itself is the study of a variable called "Boolean." This variable can only take two values: true and false. See 'related links' for more information.
The difference is just the grade level. Elementary algebra is more of 4th 5th and maybe 6th. Pre algebra is more 6th 7th and possibly 8th.
George Boole introduced Boolean Algebra in 1847 as a response to an ongoing debate between two mathematicians at the time. Boolean Algebra captures essential properties of both set operations and logic operations.

A keyword search searches for exact word when a boolean search looks for synonym's. The difference between a keyword search and a boolean search is the focus of the search. A keyword search is a search for an exact word. A boolean search is a search for a synonym.
Algebra is a form (or subset) of mathematics.
Elementry Algebra is something that 6th, 7th, 8th and even, 9th graders take. The basic standard is6th grade: Junior High Mathematics7th grade: Transition8th grade: Algebra9th grade: Geometry10th grade: Algebra 211th grade: TrigonometryAnd so on so forth. So the difference is the grades and what level you are in.
