i depends what type of computer you have, some computers have different functions that occur when the f8 key is pressed. Also it depends on what program you are running in the foreground window. For example: on my Lenovo X220 Tablet, F8 does nothing in google chome, when i move to another app, it might do something. Or if I press Function+ F8 it gives me pointing device options. Like I said it all depends on what program or computer you have.
