Well it could be that you didn't do your homework from Algebra 1. :-) On a more serious note, it can be harder because it is a more advanced mathematical level. Especially, if you have a different teacher. Teachers also teach differently and have different expectation of their students. If you find that you need help you should talk to your teacher after class, maybe hire a tutor. Be sure to do your homework that is assigned and for extra help do homework that isn't assigned for more practice. Pay attention in class and take notes so you can review them when you get stuck.
you don't go from algebra to calculus and linear algebra. you go from algebra to geometry to advanced algebra with trig to pre calculus to calculus 1 to calculus 2 to calculus 3 to linear algebra. so since you got an A+ in algebra, I think you are good.
It is not hard compared to college algebra. pre-calc just incorporates topics you have learned so far uo to college algebra and introduces a few more. if you did well in algebra, you should do well in pre-calc.
because it is hard to understand and some people dont realize how important it is in life!
To even consider college algebra you need strong algebra skills. So, your expectation would be to work very hard and be challenged often That is why many take advanced algebra.
In many schools, Geometry is considered one grade-level lower than Algebra 2. It goes Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and so on. Note that this is a generalization, and may not be true at your school.

There is no easier method to practice your math skills other than using the algebra 2 worksheets to help. They have good samples to use to baseline your skills.
If it were easy you would do it before Algebra.
yes! i just finished algebra this past year and it was SO hard!

First of all. Help what? And second of all finding the history of algebra is almost impossible so that is a very hard question to answer.

Algebra may or may not be hard to apply. It depends on the knowledge and skill of the individual applying it and the problem to which it is applied. There are simple problems in algebra, and there are other algebra problems of increasing complexity and difficulty. Just about anyone who wishes to learn enough "practical algebra" can do so successfully. The simple application of effort and bit of tutoring will do the trick most times.
no it is like 4th grade algebra
That should probably be easy. Try it out to be sure.
