i am sure i can manually release the latch if i could find the diagram for the lock. can anyone help me with this. this is a 1993 Chevy Astro van
never mind on my question. here is what you do: take the inner handle off of the hatch and pry the hatch panle away as far as you can without brreaking it and feel for the rod that operates the locking mechanism and pull it and the door will open now all you have to do is put the rod back in the actuator. job complete
(speaking from experience) It was probably caused by the nylon retaining clip getting old and brittle. You should replace it or use a substitute such as a exterternal retaining ring, tape or something you can cram over the end of the rod in order to prevent the actuator rod from falling out again. While you are there you should inspect the other rod retainer and act accordingly.
what are the wires for on the rear hatch door hydraulic pumps
It is on the lift support shocks on the rear window hatch. Each side has one.
not trying to be mean but your question does not make sense!!! And frankly i don't know yet but when i do i will let you know. Bye!!
my hatch handle is broke
My 98 astro did this exact thing. I traced it to -believe it or not- the key switch on the rear hatch.
Unlocking the rear hatch of a 2006 Chevy Equinox. All you have to do is push the button that is inside the glove department of the car.
use the handle....
Isn't there a key lock that releases it?
You have to power it up with manure which you have to get from the farmer near the secret hatch to Mordred's Hideout
Also there doesn't seem to be enough power going to the back hatch release or the wiper to operate. Had at one time the whole dash went out then came back while idling. Van is a 93.
There are no sewers in Arturus. The locked hatch is Mordred's secret underground lab. (see related question for the key)
Go to the hay bales and push them apart. The key opens the hatch to Mordred's underground laboratory.
