Well. If it's any help, I bought a 2002 Kawasaki GT550 about a month ago, put 12 pounds worth of petrol in about 3 weeks ago and only had to refil today. During that time I travelled 108 miles in town traffic which I've calculated as 42-43 miles per gallon. Of course, this will shoot up considerably when I start taking it regularely onto the motorway. I imagine I'll get at least 55mpg out of it. I'll find out in a couple of weeks.
