There are ( 2 ) valve covers on the engine in a Ford Excursion V8 engine
The PCV valve on a 2004 Ford Taurus should be on the left side of the engine. It plugs into the valve cover at the rear of the cover.
On my 1995 the PCV valve is on the engine valve cover , on the driver side , near the rear of the valve cover
On a 2000 Ford Ranger , 4.0 liter EFI , V6 engine : The PCV valve is on the drivers side engine valve cover , on the top of the valve cover , near the REAR of the cover
On a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac : I believe the PCV valve is on the REAR of the drivers side engine valve cover ( between the valve cover and the firewall )
The ( 2 ) valve covers are on top of the engine ( V6 and V8 ) on each side of the engine
On a 2000 Ford Ranger , 4.0 liter EFI , V6 engine : The PCV valve is on top of the drivers side engine valve cover It is near the rear of the valve cover ( towards the firewall end )
In the top of the valve cover , on the drivers side of the engine , near the rear of the valve cover , next to the firewall
On a 1996 Ford Ranger , 4.0 : The PCV valve is on top of the drivers side engine valve cover , near the rear of the valve cover
on the right hand valve cover about halfway back.
Probably on a valve cover towards the back of the engine.
The valve cover on a Ford 5.0 engine has a torque of 10 foot-pounds, though this can vary between other models. If possible, locate a service manual, which will list the specs for your particular engine.
