I can't see why not, as long as they are covered or non-offensive. Best thing is to ask individual employers about their policies. Themore coservative the school and area the less likely you are to be able to have them.

Let me start by saying that I detest tatoos. I can't imagine what moves some people to mutilate themselves in that way. But that said, I would answer the question with a question: "What does a tattoo have to do with a teacher's ability to teach?" If the tattoos are extreme enough to be distracting, then of course they don't belong in a classroom. But otherwise, how can they possiblity be relevant?
