Stands for Electronic Controlled Transmission. The button switches the transmission between Normal & Power Mode. The Power Mode changes the shift pattern to allow the transmission to up-shift at a higher RPM. For instance the Normal Mode up-shift will occur at 37 mph and the Power Mode up-shift will occur at 47 mph. Fuel economy will suffer in the Power Mode. Normally you would leave it in the Normal Mode unless you want a little more sporty feel.

it may have a used engine from a 95 truck put in it. Or, it could be a late 1994, and Toyota was installing 1995 starters on the last of the production run for that year.

Maybe you used the wrong pump? There are two different kinds of power steering pumps made for 1992 Toyota Camry's. Ones for Camrys manufactured 03/1992 and before, and ones for camrys manufactured from 04/1992-1996. You can check when your car was made by looking on the inside of the driver side door jamb.
