well i know i am only 16 but i have 10 tattoos already. if you really want a tattoo it should mean something to you, not just get it done to fit in with peers. i have 10 because they mean something to me. my first one was my daughters name, my second was her foot print, my third was my the date of her birth, the fourth was in my lip, it was her initials. the last one i got covered my whole back, it is a picture of her. so if you must have a tattoo get something that means something to you, cus they are permenant, and they wont come off.

let me break it down from this girls answer hmmmm YES!!!!! GO OUT AND GET TATTOOED IF YOU WANT IF NOT STOP ASKING!!! simple it's all up to u lol

I want to add, that I had wanted a tattoo since I was a little girl to match my mother and grandmothers butterfly tattoos on their chest. I got it when I was 18, and it was a little sad and exciting at the same time. I had wanted it for so long, but then again...it wont ever come off. But after that, I got more b/c I already have one.

The advantages of getting a tattoo are it looks good sometimes and you can declare your love for family members or a football team by putting their names on yourself. The disadvantages are it costs a lot of money, it costs a lot of money to have it removed and if you have it removed it can leave you with horrible scars you can't get rid of! hope this helps! :')

Only if you are willing to live with a decision that could potentially define your future and the impression you will make on those who will define the direction your future takes. Of course you have to know (not think you know, not believe), truly know the reason you want the tattoo. Oh, and location is important. If you are making some sort of statement and you choose to have the tattoo placed on your forehead, you will need to be prepared for the backlash you are likely to receive. Remember, never hang a target that you don't expect someone will shoot at. Because, if you hang a target, some will take a shot (metaphorically speaking).

If you instead choose to get your tat in a location that is typically covered, and your reason for getting inked is as private as the tat, then by all means go ahead. Just be prepared to explain to your grandchildren one day why the humming bird on grandma's shoulder now looks like a cartoon vulture. Bodies change with age, and changing bodies tend to change inked skin.

if you are asking an online Q&A what tattoo you should get on your own body, then don't get a tattoo.

In my belief, I do not think it is smart to get a tattoo because it is a painful procedure to get it off, and most of the population of the US do not like tattoos.

It depends on what the tattoo is, where it's going to be, and whether or not you're under age.

As long as you love the design and you've thought about this for longer than a month, I think you should.
