2(pi)(r)(h)=the area of the curved surface
Calculating the radius of a semicircle depends on what information about the semicircle is given.
Circumference = diameter*pi
The volume of a cone can be calculated using the formula V = (1/3)πr^2h, where r is the radius and h is the height. To find the radius, use the formula A = πrℓ, where A is the curved surface area and ℓ is the slant height. Given A = 550 cm and h = 25 cm, you can find the radius and then calculate the volume of the cone.
Area of a circle = pi x radius squared, so to get the radius, divide the Area by pi (3.14159), and then find the square root of that
the length is: 2rsin(1/2 theta) where r is the radius and theta is the included angle.
Vol = 4/3*pi*r3 so given the volume, you can calculate the radius. Height of sphere = 2*radius.
radius
well if the radius is given then the diameter is : d=2r. as for in a circle the diameter is : d=2(pi)r pi=3.14
The Schwarzschild radius, rs, is given by rs = 2Gm/c2 where G is the gravitational constant, m is the mass of the object, and c is the speed of light in vacuum.
You cannot. If you rotate the circle around its centre, the lengths of the radius and chord will remain the same but the coordinates of the chord will change.
