I would use 3 1/2 yds x 120" width fabric. My mattress is 12" thick and I left 8"on both sides for the tuck(I like enough tuck underneath so the sheet won't come undone. So my measurements are Mattress 60 wide x 80 long. For the fitted sheet 60"+12 (width of the mattress) +12(WOM) +8(for tuck)+8(for tuck)=100"wide. For the length 80"+12"+12"+8"+8"=120"length. So cut length is 100"wide x 120"length..If you like you can adjust the tuck to less inches..

The amount of fabric that is needed to make a king size bedspread is between 10 and 14 yards. Quilted bedspreads require a bit more fabric than other bedspreads.

A standard amount of fabric for King Size would probably be around 91⁄4 yards. That can vary depending on how tightly you want it ruffled, and the width of the fabric.

A king sized blanket can be made with three to six yards of fabric depending on the width of the fabric. A 60 inch width fabric will take less yardage than a 44 inch width.
