To change the temp display from F to C or vice versa (like when the battery is disconnected) you press the Temp down arrow & the Amb buttons for about 5 seconds. Then the display will change. Hope you still need this & it helps. Happy New Year, CT Toolman.
On a 2003 Kia Sorento, the "AMB" button, which is used to change the temperature display from Celsius to Fahrenheit, is typically located on the climate control panel. It may be labeled as "AMB" or "Ambient." Pressing this button should toggle the temperature reading format. If you're having trouble locating it, refer to your owner's manual for specific details and diagrams.

The change in temperature from 25°C to -10°C is a decrease of 35°C.
My 2006 Sorento has a protector plate under the engine---you can drain the oil without removing the plate if you have a funnel that can be pointed towards a hole in the protector plate, but it is a tight fit. Removing the plate will expose the oil pan and drain plug as in all engines. C. Fox foxc@unt.edu
The change in temperature from 15°C to -5°C is a decrease of 20 degrees Celsius.
A temperature change by one degree on Celsius scale equals temperature change of 1.8 degree on Fahrenheit scale or F (Fahrenheit) = 1.8 C (Celsius) + 32
The change in temperature is +39 degrees Celsius, as the final temperature (23°C) is higher than the initial temperature (-16°C). Elevation is not relevant in this context since it remains constant.
Check and make sure that the a/c heater control door is working and if so then check the actuators the vacuum and the controller as well..............
