If you're just dropping the trans pan of an AUTOMATIC transmission; about 5 quarts. If you mean the entire transmission, its more like 10 quarts. If it's a MANUAL trans, it's a little under 2 quarts.
Approximately (roughly) 2.5 quarts as noted in the Haynes manual.
If empty the automatic will hold almost 9 quarts.
Dry fill is near 12 quarts.
there is a drain plug on the bottom of the trans will drain out about 4 quarts should change the trans filter located on the front of trans while your at it
automatic trans takes 3 and manual takes 2.8
If totally empty it takes between 12 to 13 qts.
