∙ 10y agoYou need to know how many miles per gallon the vehicle gets in order to do this problem. For example, if the car gets 20 mile to a gallon, it takes
1/20 = 0.05 gallons
It has nothing to do with tank size, unless you run out of gas

who much money would I need to drive 750 mile on a 25 mile to the gallon and gas prices are 1.98 a gallon
You will use about 9.2 gallons of fuel on the trip.
26mpg Times 15 gallons is a 390 mile range.
It depends on you fuel economy. MPG means miles divided by gallons. Miles/Gallon. Take number of miles driven, divided by number of gallons to drive those miles. Flip over miles per gallon to get gallons per mile then multiply by dollars per gallon to get dollars per mile.
miles ÷ (miles/gallon) * ($/gallon) = miles * (gallons/mile) * ($/gallon) = (miles * gallons * $) / (miles * gallons) = $ So divide 560 mi by the vehicle's fuel economy, then multiply the quotient by the fuel cost.
Depends on vehicle mileage per gallon,
It depends on the vehicle you are driving. Unless something is terribly wrong, it takes a fraction of a gallon to drive one mile. My 15-year-old Dodge gets 20 miles per gallon, meaning that one mile takes a twentieth, or 0.05, of one gallon. Some new models get 30 miles per gallon or more, so a mile would require 0.033 of a gallon or less.
About 1/10 of a gallon.
Please tell me you're not driving a vehicle that gets 20 gallons to the mile. That would use up 20,000 gallons and cost you 80,000 dollars. 20 miles to the gallon would use 50 gallons and cost 200 dollars.

Well, you take how many gallons there are in your tank and how many estimated miles per gallon your vehicle can have and take your miles per gallon times the gallons in your tank. Your average car should get at least 230 miles for all your tank space. Your average mile per gallon in my estimate would be around 25.
