Alt+251 -- To show the symbol you need to hold alt and press 251 on the numpad.

Just in case you are meaning to find the square root of a number then you only need the function SQRT(~number~).

Also, it looks kind of like a check mark. So, as an alternative, you can also write square root as "^(1/2)" or "^0.5" or just "^.5"
