The answer is 650,000. The key is the '647,000' part of it. in 10,000's the closest is 640,000 and 650,000. Because the next number is 7,000, we round UP to 650,000. However if it was something like '644,444' we would round DOWN to 640,000.
When rounding 971 to the nearest hundred, you look at the digit in the tens place, which is 7. Since 7 is greater than or equal to 5, you round up the hundreds place by 1. Therefore, 971 rounded to the nearest hundred is 1000.
To find 10 percent of a number, multiply the number by 0.1. In this instance, 0.1 x 989 = 98.9. Therefore, 10 percent of 989 is equal to 98.9.

I have used the 10-round magazine for the Marlin 795 sold by Brownells (www.brownells.com) as 550-000-337. This is a nickel plated mag. Aside from extra capacity and nickel plating it appears to be the same design as the 7-round magazine that came with the rifle (Marlin 989). Brownells also sells a 7-round blued mag as 550-707-346 that should work.
