10 to the power of 10 to the power of 100 zeros! EDIT: It has 100 zeros. 10^10^100 is a googolplex (10^googol)
the number googol has exactly 100 zeros in it
A googol is 10^100. A googolplex is 10^googol
a googol has 100 zeros.
Seeing as a googol of zeros would be 10^100 zeros, that number of zeros would be quite hard to write out. If you were to try and write out that many zeros by hand at 3 zeros per second, it would still take you 1.05699307 × 1092 years to write them all out.
10 to the power of 10 to the power of 100 zeros! EDIT: It has 100 zeros. 10^10^100 is a googolplex (10^googol)
A Googol is 10100 or 10 with a hundred zeros after it.
A googol = 10¹⁰⁰ so there are 100 zeros.
A number that has 1 with a googol zeros after it. A googol has 1 with one hundred zeros after it.
A googol has 100 zeros. A googolplex has a googol of zeros. 1 googol is 10100. A googolplex is 10googol .
A googol is 10100 , that is 10*10*10*...*10 (one hundred lots of ten). It has 100 0s.
the number googol has exactly 100 zeros in it
A googolplex is 1 followed by a googol zeros, sometimes written as 10^10^100.
1 googol = 10100 = ' 1 ' with 100 zeros after it.
Google isn't a number. The search engine Google used that name as it is a pun on Googol which is a number, and is 10¹⁰⁰ which is a 1 followed by 100 zeros 10¹⁰⁰ + 1 (a 1 followed by 99 zeros followed by another 1), 10¹⁰⁰ + 2 (a 1 followed by 99 zeros followed by a 2), 10¹⁰⁰ + 3 (a 1 followed by 99 zeros followed by a 3), ... are bigger than a googol, so yes, there are numbers bigger than a googol. A googolplex is 10^googol = 10^(10¹⁰⁰) = 10^(100...0) where there are 100 zeros in the power of the 10; it is a 1 followed by a googol (ie 10¹⁰⁰) zeros. In fact there are infinitely many numbers greater than a googol as the counting numbers (1, 2, 3, ...) can each be added to a googol, and there are infinitely many counting numbers.
1 googolplex = 10googol = ' 1 ' with 1 googol zeros after it.
It is 100 zeros (10 to the power of 100)
